Girls Nite Out Tomorrow

I will be a vendor at Girls Nite Out taking place at the Playhouse Cafe from 7-9pm tomorrow nite. If you haven't RSVP'd yet, feel free to come we are expecting a great turn out! I made these thank you note card sets to put as my favor in the goody bags. It was a challenge to think of a design that would be useful to anyone since all my work is always created for someone specific. I had seen a cool typography print that inspired this design of my own... the alphabet running across the card spells out "t-h-a-n-k-y-o-u". I hope you enjoy using them if you are one of the lucky ladies who gets a bag!

Corning Museum of Glass

So we are back from our vacation at the cabin. It's looking like Tim has a new job lined up but there are lots of details to work out. I will keep you posted b/c it will mean exciting changes for our family! We drove about 45 min. to Corning, NY on a rainy day to check out the glass plant there. It was very cool. We got to see them make a beautiful fruit bowl and then break it for recycling... after I saw the prices in the gift shop I realize why they don't just give away the sample. I would have loved to have it! Here are 2 pictures of things I liked, one bowl was a city scape the other was an enormous fruit bowl made of glass fruit!

On Vacation - The Studio is closed until March 5th

I've got lots of posting to catch up to do, but my husband is "in b/w jobs" so we are going to take a break and go up to the cabin for the next week for some family bonding! I had a chance to meet lots of brides this weekend both in PA and MD so if you don't hear back from me, I will touch base with you later next week!

My January Babies

Sorry I am so behind with blogging!!!! I finally feel like I'm getting my head above the water, sort off. Each time a new project goes out the door 2 more come it, which is good, it keeps me busy and helps pay the bills that seem to pile up faster than I can make money :-/ I want to tell you about my awesome photoshoot with Jen last friday and the birthday party we went to at Museum 4 Me. And the 2 logos I worked on recently....

These announcements are from my 2 january girls. The one mom just designed an built a new home so she had a great idea to do a "new year" "new house" "new baby" theme I did the illustrations to go with it. These were offset printed on super thick ivory stock from ChloeB by Crane. The other baby is just too adorable (she was just here with her mom who picked up the cards). She makes me SO READY to want another one!!! Jen took these gorgeous photos which fit perfectly into the brown and pink design I did in the fall for Talya's little girl Morgan.

I'm back!

It was so nice to get away for a long weekend. We had so much snow at the cabin we decided to stay an extra day so we could snowmobile in the morning. We couldn't go to far b/c after about 12 mi. lexie would fall asleep!

Catching up to do!

So much for starting 09 with a clean plate. Over New Year's we all got sick and lexie needed her mama home and not at work, she is better and I'm trying to get back into my groove at the studio. I have lots of new stuff to post! Most recent, I just sent a postcard to the printer today for Creative Cakes by Jessica. She will have a booth at the Bridal Show at the Lancaster Host Resort on Sunday the 18th from 11:30-4pm. Email her for tickets to the show! I also worked with Elaine on cool stuff for her new photography biz and family roofing business. I did the Time4Tyler invitations... an annual fundraiser dinner hosted by my friend Amy Cook and her husband. Last years party was a huge hit and I can't wait for this years. I'm working on some concepts for the Gaggles n Giggles logo which is going to be exiting when it's all done. Back to work I go.....
